Hurricane-Affected Battery, Independence Contest Rescheduled

Southern Derby rivals to meet on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at MUSC Health Stadium

TAMPA, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced on Wednesday the regular season contest between the Charleston Battery and Charlotte Independence at MUSC Health Stadium that had been postponed due to the potential arrival of Hurricane Florence this week had been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 19 at 7 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the contest, which was originally scheduled for this Saturday, September 15, can be redeemed at any of the Battery’s final three regular season home games: September 19 vs. Charlotte Independence, September 26 vs. North Carolina FC, or September 29 vs. Toronto FC II.
