PHOENIX (May 24, 2018) — Phoenix Rising FC heads back on the road to face Swope Park Rangers this Saturday. The match kicks off at 2:00 p.m. and fans can watch locally on Yurview Arizona, Cox channels 4&1004 in Phoenix and 7&1007 in Tucson. They can also stream the match on ESPN+. The match will also be simulcast live on the radio on El Patron 93.7 FM (Spanish language) and Fox Sports 910 AM (English).

Phoenix Rising FC (6-2-3) dropped a pair of games last week. The club was defeated by Sporting Arizona FC in penalty kicks in the second round of the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday before dropping a 3-1 decision at home to Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday.

Despite the setbacks, the club remained in second place in the Western Conference standings at the end of week ten.
The club's 21 points in 11 matches is a record start for Phoenix Rising, shattering the previous record for most points through 11 games (18 points, set last season). PRFC also leads all of USL in goals scored (22) and is second in goal differential (+10).

Swope Park Rangers (4-2-4) have won just one of their last five matches in league play. Swope Park settled for a 0-0 draw with Rio Grande Valley FC its last time out, moving it to sixth place in the Western Conference with 16 points.

This will be the 6th time the two teams have ever met. Phoenix Rising owns the only victory in the series, a 4-3 win at home last season. The other four matches have all been draws, including the teams’ meeting in the USL Playoffs last year, when Swope Park eventual advanced on penalty kicks.

Phoenix Rising will be hosting to watch parties locally for fans to watch the match. The parties will be held at two different Valle Luna locations. ONe will be at the 1949 W. Ray Road location in Chandler and the other will be at the 3336 West Bell Road location in Phoenix.
