The Big Cat's strike vs. Charleston named top goal of July with 41 percent of the fan vote

Unbeaten in its past three games on the pitch, FC Cincinnati can now lay claim to a fourth straight USL Goal of the Month award as Omar Cummings' tally against Charleston on July 30 was chosen as the best of July through an online fan vote.

The left-footed delivery that helped FC Cincinnati earn a draw in front of another crowd of over 19,000 at Nippert Stadium finished as the decisive choice over a free kick from San Antonio FC midfielder Rafa Castillo (20 percent) and a Zach Mathers strike for Seattle Sounders FC 2 (16 percent), as well as seven other entries.

With the result, Cummings joins teammates Sean Okoli (April), Andrew Wiedeman (May) and Eric Stevenson (June) who have topped the fan voting for USL Goal of the Month to this point in the campaign.

Cummings' goal from the final weekend of the month made its way into the voting by virtue of being selected the "Fans' Choice" USL Goal of the Week for Week 19.
