Two undefeated sides meet at StubHub Center on Wednesday night

CARSON, Calif. – Two undefeated sides, both coming off draws this past weekend, will meet on Wednesday night as the LA Galaxy II host San Antonio FC. Kickoff at StubHub Center is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

LA Galaxy II news and notes

  • Current record: 2-0-2, 8 points
  • The Galaxy II sit at the top of the Western Conference in the early going, but are coming off back-to-back draws that have tempered their fast start.
  • Los Dos last saw action on Friday night, when they played to a 1-1 draw against Orange County Blues FC at StubHub Center in the first I-405 Derby of the season.
  • Jose Villarreal gave the Galaxy II the lead midway through the second half, but Orange County responded soon after on a free kick by Didier Crettenand.
  • Jack McBean is tied for the league lead with three goals so far this season, while the Galaxy II lead the league with nine goals overall.

  • San Antonio welcomed a Toyota Field record crowd of 8,446 fans for its inaugural home opener on Saturday night, and took away a point in a 1-1 draw with the previously perfect Swope Park Rangers.
  • Danny Garcia scored the club’s first goal at home this season, as his finish just before halftime cancelled out an early goal by Swope Park’s Daniel Salloi.
  • San Antonio took a 3-0 win against Seattle Sounders FC 2 in its first road game of the season as Jason Johnson scored a pair of goals.
  • San Antonio has recorded 15 shots on goal in its first two games of the season, which is more than the Galaxy II’s 13 in four games.
