Seattle Sounders FC 2 news and notes

  • Seattle has already matched its total of home defeats a season ago in 2016, with the three losses at Starfire Stadium seeing the club outscored 6-0.
  • S2 fell 3-0 to San Antonio FC in its last outing on April 3, as two early goals left the side with a deficit it was unable come back from against the expansion side.
  • Seattle had scored 10 goals in its opening three games of the 2015 season on home turf. This season, it has only recorded eight shots on goal in its opening three games.
  • S2 will complete a five-game home stand to open the season this Sunday when Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC visit Starfire Stadium.
