CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati announced the addition of six new players to its roster on Monday, with Guam goalkeeper Dallas Jaye leading the group.

Jaye, a former standout in the PDL for FC Tucson, is coming off a strong college career that saw him claim Big East Goalkeeper of the Year honors for Xavier in 2015. Jaye has also made four appearances for Guam internationally, where he has played alongside the LA Galaxy’s AJ DeLaGarza, and USL standouts Alex Lee (Richmond) and Mason Grimes (Tulsa).

Jaye is joined in Cincinnati by fellow former Musketeer forward Jake Spencer, who recorded 14 goals and eight assists in his senior season to help Xavier reach the NCAA Tournament. Spencer was the first Xavier player in program history to be selected in the MLS SuperDraft in 2013, when his name was called by the New England Revolution.

Canadian midfielder Jamie Dell joins Cincinnati after spending his rookie year with the Carolina RailHawks. A former player for PDL side FC London, Dell had a strong career for UNC-Wilmington in college as he earned NSCAA All-America Third Team selection in 2014, in addition to All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team Honors.

Former Ohio Wesleyan defender Evan Lee will enter his first professional season with Cincinnati after playing a key role in the Battling Bishops’ 2015 campaign. Lee made 23 appearances as Ohio Wesleyan reached the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament as he earned North Coast Athletic Conference Defender of the Year honors.

The group is rounded out by former Monmouth defender Derek Luke, who recorded a goal and seven assists in his senior season for the Hawks in 2015, and goalkeeper Dan Williams, who competed for the Cincinnati Saints last year.

“This latest group of players gives our roster depth as well as leadership” said Cincinnati Head Coach John Harkes. “Local fans will enjoy seeing familiar faces like Luke Spencer and Dan Williams on the pitch here again.”
