ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced their preseason schedule in preparation for the 2018 USL regular season.  The games are not expected to be streamed online and all preseason games at Toyota Stadium are open to the public.

Players will arrive for physicals and meetings on January 31-February 1.  The first training sessions of the year will take place February 5-6 at World Wide Technology Soccer Park before the team departs for Melbourne, Florida for preseason training camp.  The team will be based at Eastern Florida State College from February 7-19 and host two friendly games, the first against Eastern Florida State College on February 14 and the second against Florida International University (FIU) on February 18.  The team will return to play Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) at the World Wide Technology Soccer Park on February 24 before hosting FC Denver over a two-legged weekend of games on March 3-4.  The preseason will conclude with a preseason match against Louisville City FC at the University of Evansville on March 10.

"We are looking forward to getting the 2018 preseason started here in a few weeks," said Jeremy Alumbaugh, STLFC Vice-President and GM. "There obviously is a lot to do as we make final preparations for the 2018 USL season and spending time in Melbourne, FL will allow us to get off to a positive start.  We are extremely grateful to Eastern Florida State College for hosting us during this time.  Once we return, it will be important for the players and staff to settle into WWT Soccer Park and Toyota Stadium with the matches versus SIUE and FC Denver.  Finishing up preseason with a match against Louisville City FC will give the team an opportunity to travel like we will during the regular season, so that is an important piece, and then of course playing a quality side in the defending USL Cup Champions will be quite a test as well."

The USL regular season will start away at Rio Grande Valley FC on March 16 before the team travels to face San Antonio FC on March 24.  Saint Louis FC will host Colorado Springs Switchback FC at Toyota Stadium on March 31.
