Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Roughnecks F.C. made another addition to its 2018 roster as Head Coach David Vaudreuil announced the team has come to terms with 22-year-old Christian Rodriguez.  The attacking midfielder will come to Tulsa after playing in the Salvadoran Primera Division, which is the top league in El Salvador.

“Christian is versatile player who can play a number of different positions,” said Vaudreuil. “He is very comfortable on the ball, turns and distributes the ball well, and will be a link between the defense and attack.”

The 5’7” Rodriguez has most recently been playing for C.D. FAS, one of the most-storied clubs in El Salvador.   He has also been in camp with the El Salvador U-20 National Team.

Before turning pro, Rodriguez came up through the D.C. United Academy, playing all the way up to the U-20 level in his hometown of Washington D.C. As an amateur, he also spent time at F.C. Groningen in the Netherlands with the reserve side and as a U-17 and U-19, as well as a stint at Lyon in France.
