Jamaican international set to play first full season with the club

PHOENIX (December 6, 2017) — Phoenix Rising FC announced today it has re-signed midfielder Kevon Lambert for the 2018 season. Lambert was a late addition to the club, appearing in ten matches and starting in eight of them.

"I’m very happy to be back in Phoenix and I can’t wait to get started," Lambert said. "Last season was a good one, but it wasn’t completed. So this season, we will be working to get the job done.

Lambert signed with the club on August 10th and made his club debut as a sub in Phoenix Rising’s 1-1 draw against Orange County SC on August 18th. Lambert made his international debut in 2017, earning his first international cap with the Jamaican National Team in February against Honduras. He’d go on to start in four matches for Jamaica during the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup in which Jamaica finished second. Lambert is the fifth player to re-sign with the club for 2018, following Alessandro Riggi, Carl Woszczynski, Chris Cortez, and Amadou Dia.
