TUKWILA, WA – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and Seattle Sounders 2 battled to a 1-1 tie at the Starfire Sports Complex on Saturday evening, as the pair of Western Conference teams continued their pursuit of a place in the 2017 USL Cup Playoffs. With the result, the Switchbacks will close the night in the conference’s eighth and final playoff position, while S2 sits four points behind them. Henry Wingo opened the scoring for Seattle in the 21st minute, while Jack Jones netted the equalizer for Colorado Springs just before halftime. Seattle is now 9-15-4 this year, while the Switchbacks are 9-11-8 overall.
