Ottawa Fury FC news and notes

  • Current record: 7-9-8, 29pts

  • Fury FC comes into this match after salvaging a 2-2 draw against New York Red Bulls II last Sunday.

  • The equalizer came in the fourth minute of stoppage time as Ramon Martin Del Campo scored at the death after providing the assist on Steevan Dos Santos’ opener.

  • That performance from Del Campo saw him earn a place in the back line on the USL Team of the Week while goalkeeper Callum Irving earned the USL Save of the Week nod for his late heroics for his side.

  • Ottawa's Julian De Guzman is yet to win a match in four outings since being announced as the interim Head Coach. Fury FC sits five points out of a playoff position with eight games remaining.

Saint Louis FC news and notes

  • Current record: 8-11-6, 30pts

  • Saint Louis thought it had managed a win on Wednesday against Toronto FC II, but a stoppage time equalizer saw them forced to settle for a 1-1 draw.

  • Christian Volesky scored the lone goal for Saint Louis in the match, before the equalizer came in the third minute of stoppage time.

  • Saint Louis managed to put 33.3 percent of its shots on target, making the most of the few chances that presented themselves.

  • STLFC has only won two matches on the road this season, a big part of why the club sits four points outside top eight in the conference.

Series Notes

  • This will be the second meeting between the two sides, the first was a 3-2 win to Saint Louis FC at Toyota Stadium - Saint Louis on April 1st.
