Saint Louis looks to build on win as Riverhounds visit

FENTON, Mo. – Saint Louis FC will try to build on a big comeback victory in its last outing when it plays host to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at Toyota Stadium – Saint Louis on Saturday night in a contest that will be crucial for both clubs in the race for the 2017 USL Cup Playoffs. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.

Saint Louis FC news and notes

  • Current record: 7-9-5, 26pts

  • Saint Louis rallied to take a 4-3 victory against the Tampa Bay Rowdies last Sunday evening at Toyota Stadium – Saint Louis for its second win in the past four games.

  • Seth Rudolph scored twice in the victory, while Konrad Plewa scored the game-winning goal in the 89th minute as STLFC came back from a 3-2 halftime deficit.

  • Saint Louis is now five points out of eighth place in the USL Eastern Conference with 11 games remaining in its regular season.

  • Plewa is tied for third in the USL this season with 19 blocked shots, five behind Tulsa Roughnecks FC defender Modou Jadama.

  • Riverhounds midfielder Kevin Kerr is sixth in the USL with 125 crosses this season, and has recorded 42 key passes this season.
