Season series wraps up with both teams holding one victory

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Harrisburg City Islanders and New York Red Bulls II meet for the third and final time this season on Wednesday night at FNB Field with both teams having taken victory once so far in the series between the two in 2017. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Harrisburg City Islanders news and notes

  • Current record: 4-8-4, 16pts

  • The City Islanders saw their two-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday as the Rochester Rhinos scored late in 1-0 victory at Capelli Sport Stadium.

  • The contest was the first in the Capelli Sport Hero Cup rivalry series between the clubs, which will resume on August 8 at FNB Field.

  • Harrisburg kicks off a three-game home stand on Wednesday night, with the Richmond Kickers and Charlotte Independence also set to visit during the upcoming stint.

  • The City Islanders announced on Tuesday that the game on Saturday against the Kickers will be aired locally on WHTM - ABC 27.
