WFC2 looks to complete season sweep as it visits Switchbacks

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 will try to complete a season sweep of Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, and vault back into contention for the USL Cup Playoffs, when the teams meet at Weidner Field on Saturday night for the first time since last season’s playoffs. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. MT.

  • The Switchbacks fell 1-0 to Rio Grande Valley FC last Saturday night for their second loss in the last three outings.

  • Colorado Springs held a 15-1 shots advantage over the Toros, but Ruben Luna’s penalty kick proved decisive for the visitors midway through the second half.
