Rhinos aim to return to win column as City Islanders push forward

Rochester Rhinos news and notes

  • Current record: 5-3-6, 21pts

  • The Rhinos played to a 0-0 draw against Saint Louis FC on Wednesday night to kick off Week 16 to remain in the top eight in the USL Eastern Conference.

  • Former Rochester goalkeeper Adam Grinwis thwarted the Rhinos for Saint Louis, recording five saves as Rochester outshot its hosts 16-3 for the contest.

  • Rhinos goalkeeper Tomas Gomez is now tied for second in the USL with six shutouts this season, while the side has conceded the second-fewest goals in the Eastern Conference (15), trailing only Louisville City FC.

  • The Rhinos have recorded only one goal during their three-game winless streak, and sit 22nd in the USL with 16 goals in 14 games.

Harrisburg City Islanders news and notes
