OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC Energy FC announced on Thursday that forward Wojciech Wojcik would undergo surgery after sustaining a fracture to his left elbow during the team’s 3-2 victory against Phoenix Rising FC on Tuesday night. At this time, the timetable for Wojcik’s return is not yet known.

Wojcik led Energy FC to victory on Tuesday night in the USL Game of the Week on ESPN3 at Taft Stadium with a pair of goals, his first two tallies in the league this season. The 6-foot-4 forward had also scored in last Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, after having scored four goals in the regular season for OKC a season ago.
