Red Bulls II, Los Dos look to bounce back from midweek defeats

HARRISON, N.J. – The New York Red Bulls II and LA Galaxy II will both look to bounce back from big midweek defeats when they meet for the first time at Red Bull Arena on Sunday night. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET, and the contest will utilize the Video Assistant Referee system.

New York Red Bulls II news and notes

  • Current record: 3-3-2, 11pts

  • The Red Bulls II fell 5-1 to the Charlotte Independence on Thursday night as an early goal by Junior Flemmings was answered by five straight by the hosts at Eagle Field.

  • The loss was the heaviest in the Red Bulls II’s history, and also the first time the side had conceded five goals in a game.

  • New York’s three losses this regular season match the club’s total from the 2016 season when it claimed the USL regular season championship.
