Sacramento fell to a second consecutive 1-0 defeat against the Swope Park Rangers last Saturday night as Mark-Anthony Gonzalez scored the only goal at Children’s Mercy Victory Field.
Republic FC has played four of its first five games of the season on the road, with its lone home contest a 4-0 victory against Orange County SC on April 1.
It has been almost a year since Sacramento last suffered a three-game losing streak, when it fell 1-0 on three consecutive occasions between April 17 and April 30.
Sacramento is averaging 383 completed passes per game, and sits tied for fourth in the USL alongside Portland with a 79 percent completion mark.
