Kickers Announce Preseason Schedule

Will host Virginia in annual Pro-Am Challenge on March 4

RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Kickers announced their 2017 preseason schedule on Wednesday, which will be highlighted by the eighth annual Pro-Am Challenge featuring the University of Virginia on Saturday, March 4 at Ukrop Park, and a match against North Carolina FC on Wednesday, March 15 at City Stadium.

The Kickers will open their preseason camp with a closed-door scrimmage against the College of William & Mary on March 1 before taking on the Cavaliers the following weekend. Kickoff for the Pro-Am Challenge on March 4 is slated for 5 p.m. and the match will serve as the marquee game during the weekend’s prestigious Ultimate Cup, hosted jointly by the Richmond Kickers and Richmond Strikers.

Tickets are $10 and space is limited to just 500 seats. Limited space is also available for Red Army members in an exclusive on-field standing section. Richmond Kickers Season Ticket Holders are eligible for a private pre-sale before general admission tickets go on sale on Friday, January 13 at 9 a.m. at RichmondKickers.com

The Kickers’ preseason slate will continue with a home-and-home series against North Carolina FC, with Richmod playing host at City Stadium on March 15 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and 2017 Season Tickets will be accepted at this match.

The preseason tune-up will conclude with a closed-door game against Virginia Commonwealth University on March 19.

March 4 – vs. University of Virginia, Ukrop Park, 5 p.m. ET
March 8 – at North Carolina FC, 11 a.m. ET
March 15 – vs. North Carolina FC, City Stadium, 7 p.m. ET
March 19 – vs. Virginia Commonwealth University, City Stadium 5 p.m. ET
