CHESTER, Pa. – Bethlehem Steel FC forward Eric Ayuk has been named in the Cameroon U20 squad that will face Zimbabwe this Friday in a 2017 U20 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The Philadelphia Union loanee has appeared in seven games this season for the Steel, and earned USL Team of the Week honors on April 19 after leading Bethlehem to a 2-1 win against the Richmond Kickers with a goal and assist.

The 19-year-old currently leads the Steel in shots (8), shots on target (4), goals (2) and assists (1) and is third in minutes played.

The second leg of the qualifier will be played in June, with the winner advancing to face either Libya or Benin for a place in the tournament.
