The Pittsburgh Riverhounds’ Romeo Parkes and Sergio Campbell led seven current and former USL players named today to Jamaica’s 40-man preliminary roster for the 2016 Copa America Centenario.

Parkes is in the midst of a four-game scoring streak for the Riverhounds, and on Tuesday afternoon was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 6 of the season. The 25-year-old has previously made four appearances for the Reggae Boyz, and sits tied for third in goals in the USL this season.

Campbell has appeared in four of the Riverhounds’ five games this season, starting each time. A former member of Columbus Crew SC, the 24-year-old joined the Riverhounds this offseason after spending time on loan with the Austin Aztex in his rookie professional season last year.

Saint Louis FC goalkeeper Ryan Thompson was also named in the preliminary roster, continuing his presence in the Reggae Boyz squad that saw him feature prominently in the team’s magical run to the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final.

New York Red Bulls II midfielder Junior Flemming was also named after a bright start to his USL career this spring. Flemmings has scored a goal and added two assists in his five appearances for the side this season, and was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 2 of the season.

Also named to the squad was Oniel Fisher, who has made five starts for Seattle Sounders FC 2 this season on loan from Sounders FC. Former Sacramento Republic FC loanee Alvas Powell was also named, as was Real Monarchs SLC loanee Omar Holness.
