CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy II will try to extend its seven-game undefeated streak to start the season when it hosts a strong Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Wednesday night. Kickoff at the StubHub Center Track and Field Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

  • The Galaxy II snapped a streak of four consecutive draws on Saturday night as goals by Jack McBean and Ariel Lassiter earned a 2-0 win against Rio Grande Valley FC.
  • McBean’s goal was his sixth of the season, which ties his single season career-high in the USL, and puts him second in the race for the league’s Golden Boot.
  • Clement Diop recorded his third shutout of the season for the Galaxy II on Saturday. He sits third in the USL with a 0.60 goals-against average.

  • The Switchbacks were snowed out ahead of their most recent scheduled outing on Saturday night, with the game against Real Monarchs SLC being postponed until June 29.
  • The team is coming off a 1-0 win against San Antonio FC on April 23, which saw Martin Maybin score the only goal of the game.
  • Maybin leads the Switchbacks with three of the team’s five goals so far this season.
