COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday as its visits Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 at UBC Thunderbird Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. MT.

Wednesday's contest is a rematch from June 6 at Sand Creek Park, when the Switchbacks FC took the first meeting between the teams 3-0. Aaron King, Luke Vercollone and Martin Maybine each scored to lead the Switchbacks to victory.

Colorado Springs (10-6-0,30pts) had its six-game winning streak broken this past Saturday, when the Switchbacks fell 3-1 on the road against Tulsa Roughnecks FC. Now, the team is looking to rebound with a win in Vancouver.

“We look forward to our first trip to Vancouver,” said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. “They are coming off a win against Portland and we are coming off our first loss in a while. They are a solid team and we are going to have to be on our game to get a result.”

Switchbacks FC remain in the top half of the USL’s Western Conference with 30 points. WFC2 (6-8-4, 22pts) rallied to take a 2-1 victory against the Portland Timbers 2 in its last outing, and has been strong at home this season, posting a 5-1-3 record at Thunderbird Stadium.

Switchbacks fans are invited to join the club for its watch party at Sand Creek Stadium on Wednesday night. Starting at 8 p.m. MT, the game will be aired on the club's outdoor inflatable screen.
