‘Twas the Thursday before Christmas at USL HQ, and everyone in the office had plenty to do,
But when the clock struck 11 work came to a pause, because of a visit from one Santa Claus.
The employees and their families gathered by the tree, the spirit of Christmas filling them with glee.
Many donned sweaters or suits of green and red, while one even wore antlers on top of his head.
Santa rang a bell upon arriving with Mrs. Claus, and everyone gave them a round of applause.
The children lined up to sit on Santa’s lap, they opened their presents before falling into a nap.
After opening gifts the crowd gathered for a feast, featuring some of the best tacos this side of the southeast.
After everyone and their relatives enjoyed their meal, they chatted and caught up with USL’s own Kelsi Steele.
There was banter and laughs and good times had by all, the old and the young, the short and the tall.
Before Santa departed and the staff got back to work, he looked at everyone and spoke with a smirk.
“Merry Christmas to all at the USL, and happy holidays to your clubs, players and fans as well!”
