LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville City FC opens its bid to make USL Cup Playoffs history on Saturday night as the No. 2-seed in the Eastern Conference hosts regional rival and No. 7-seed Indy Eleven at Slugger Field to kick off LouCity’s defense of its USL Cup a season ago. #LOUvIND kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be watched live on ESPN+ in the United States and YouTube internationally, and followed live via the USL Match Center.

@LouCityFC earned its fourth consecutive top-two finish in the Eastern Conference by recording a six-game winning streak to wrap up the regular season as it outscored its opponents 17-3 over that span. That streak included a 1-0 victory against Indy Eleven last Saturday night at Slugger Field that saw Cameron Lancaster score his 25th goal, completing a historic regular season that saw the English forward claim the USL single-season goalscoring record.

@IndyEleven reached the USL Cup Playoffs at its first attempt thanks to a retooled squad led by Head Coach Martin Rennie that saw newcomers including goalkeeper Owain Fôn Williams and forward Jack McInerney lead the side to a season that included some impressive results against fellow Eastern Conference contenders. Set-piece specialist Ayoze could be a key figure if Indy is going to make a run this postseason, having finished 15th in the league with 57 chances created.
