PITTSBURGH – Highmark Stadium will host a USL Cup Playoffs contest for the first time in its six-season history when No. 3-seed Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC welcomes its Pennsylvania rival and No. 6-seed Bethelhem Steel FC on Saturday night in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. #PGHvBST kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and can be watched live on ESPN+ in the United States and YouTube internationally, and followed live via the USL Match Center.

@RiverhoundsSC completed its best regular season in the USL’s modern era to earn the right to host its first postseason game at the club’s soccer-specific venue, which was opened prior to the 2013 USL season. Saturday’s game will mark the 100th at Highmark Stadium since that opening and will see the league’s best defense look to help claim the club’s first postseason victory this decade.

@BSteelFC returned to the USL Cup Playoffs for a second consecutive season after closing the regular season on a four-game undefeated streak that saw it defeat the Tampa Bay Rowdies 1-0 on Sunday afternoon behind Michee Ngalina’s first-half strike. Steel FC entered this season with a 2-2-2 record against Pittsburgh but suffered defeats in its two meetings with the Hounds this season that included a 4-1 loss on September 7 at Highmark Stadium.
