CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati and Nashville SC’s first meeting at Nippert Stadium drew a crowd of 27,246 fans as the host were made to work hard to extend their undefeated streak to 11 games after a strong display by Nashville resulted in a late equalizer by Tucker Hume that cancelled out Danni Konig’s opener after just 28 seconds for FCC.
In front of a raucous atmosphere, Hume’s 85th-minute finish was his first for the club and capped an enjoyable outing for the powerful forward.
“You could hear it from the beginning when I showed up,” said Hume. “As a player, I love that. That’s why we play. Scoring against them, I have been dreaming about that moment for months now. It’s the best to get the laugh.”
