SAN ANTONIO – Ordinarily, a goal like Charlie Ward’s first as a professional – a pin-point free kick top the top-left corner from 22 yards – would be the goal everyone was talking about the night after San Antonio FC’s 4-2 victory against Real Monarchs SLC at Toyota Field.
But Ward’s finish had the misfortune to arrive seven minutes after one of the smartest pieces of trickery we’ve seen on a USL field in a long time.
.@SanAntonioFC's @chenoguzman lands at #3 on @SportsCenter #SCTop10!

Check out this filthy goal. pic.twitter.com/axehEW1fxF
Ever Guzman’s slick roulette that saw him glide past the last defender before walking the ball into the back of the net landed at No. 3 on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 – compare it to some of the others the league has seen this season here – certainly landed him some attention.
Good god. We might want to check on that defender. Make sure he's okay

Miss me with that...
