ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced a partnership with Schlafly for the remainder of the 2018 season as the official craft beer partner of the club.  Schlafly will be unveiling a new craft beer with Saint Louis FC branding tonight, June 19th at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood to commemorate the partnership.

Schlafly Beer is Missouri’s largest locally-owned, independent craft brewery with over 60 unique styles of beer. Utilizing 102 hop varietals, 77 malts and grains, 59 different spices and fruits and 10 separate yeast strains from around the globe, Schlafly also works with local suppliers for everything from farm-fresh food to packaging and labeling. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Schlafly donates spent grain to local farmers to feed their livestock and utilizes 100% renewable energy throughout its operations. Schlafly is proud to hand-make each beer at the Tap Room in Midtown-St. Louis or the Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood while defining craft beer across 12 states.

“Not only does St. Louis have a history rooted in the sport of soccer, it’s also a city that was built on beer,” said Wil Rogers, Schlafly Brand Manager. “As St. Louis’ original craft brewery, Schlafly couldn’t be happier to partner with a group that appreciates the city of St. Louis as much as we do. We know that soccer and beer go hand-in-hand and we’re thrilled that STLFC fans can hold up a Schlafly beer as they cheer on the team. The two St. Louis traditions coming together is something that we at Schlafly are proud to be a part of.”

“Saint Louis FC is excited to announce this expanded partnership with Schlafly,” said Elliott Black, STLFC Manager of Corporate Partnerships. “This partnership will include retail promotions, Soccer Park’s Craft Corner naming rights, and a new team beer that our fans will love. Schlafly is the St. Louis craft brewery and STLFC is St. Louis’ soccer team. We are excited for the future of both our brands.”
