FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno FC announced on Friday the club had signed forward Franck Tayou for the 2018 USL season ahead of the club’s clash this Sunday with the Swope Park Rangers.

Tayou, 28, will bring depth to the Foxes' attacking front, where he has excelled at the USL level with former clubs San Antonio FC and Richmond Kickers in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, respectively. The Cameroon native is available for selection immediately and will wear No. 25 for the Foxes.

“We're excited for the addition of Franck Tayou to our club,” said Foxes General Manager Frank Yallop. “We're aware of his abilities and I've seen him do well as an opponent from my time as coach in Arizona. He's a big, strong forward who will add a presence to our offense and hopefully score lots of goals for us.”

In his first season in the USL, Tayou tied for the team lead in goals at San Antonio FC, scoring five goals in 17 appearances. He had one goal in 13 appearances for the Kickers after joining the club as a mid-season signing during the 2017 season.
