ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (May 24, 2018) — After playing to a 2-2 draw against Pittsburgh in a one-game home stand, the Rowdies head back on the road to take on Toronto FC II.

As the season begins to ramp up in late May, there are a number of intriguing contests to follow around the USL.

Thus far in 2018, it has been tough sledding for Toronto as they are winless in 10 games and are currently riding a four match losing streak.

On the flip side, the Rowdies carry a four game losing streak of their own heading north this weekend. Despite playing well in a one-point effort against Pittsburgh last Saturday, the Rowdies have lost four consecutive road tilts and have not scored a goal away from home since the team's season opening victory over North Carolina FC.

Not only does this matchup present the two strongest teams in the USL Eastern Conference, it is also one of the league's fiercest rivalries.

Louisville, lead by the USL's Player of the Month for April Cameron Lancaster, trails Cincinnati by only a point despite playing one fewer match.

On the other side, Cincinnati is hot off a dominating 4-1 victory over North Carolina and have won four of their previous five matches.

Cincinnati will be out for revenge Saturday as Louisville took a 1-0 road win in the first rivalry match between these teams in 2018.

New York Red Bulls II vs. Indy Eleven
Sunday, 1 p.m. | ESPN+

Rowdies fans certainly will be watching closely as New York and Indy battle as the sole USL game on Sunday. With both squads sitting one point ahead of Tampa Bay on the inside of the playoff picture, this midseason matchup could prove to have lasting postseason implications.

Despite going without a win since an April 14 victory over the Rowdies, New York has picked up points in four of their last five matches.

Conversely, Indy has been quite capable on the road picking up points in all four games they have played in 2018 outside of the state of Indiana.
