USL Discipline Report – Week 6

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 6 of the 2018 United Soccer League season:

Reno 1868 FC’s Brenton Griffiths has been suspended for three games following his red card for violent conduct in this past Saturday’s game against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Griffiths will be unavailable for Reno’s games against the Portland Timbers 2 (April 21), OKC Energy FC (April 28) and Rio Grande Valley FC (May 2).

Ottawa Fury FC assistant coach Victor Oppong has been suspended for Saturday’s game against North Carolina FC after being sent from the technical area for irresponsible behavior in Ottawa’s game against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC this past Saturday.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (1): Taeseong Kim

  • Las Vegas Lights FC (1): Joel Huiqui
