CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati set a USL home opener record when a crowd of 25,667 filled Nippert Stadium to close to capacity on Saturday night as it welcomed Louisville City FC for the first game of this year’s River Cities Cup rivalry. Defending USL Cup champion Louisville took a 1-0 victory thanks to Cameron Lancaster’s early goal to remain perfect in the early going this season, but here are some sights and sounds from around the ground on another memorable night in the rivalry’s short history.
