Hosted by Phoenix Rising FC, the 2018 USL Experience kicks off on Thursday, as the Super Y League’s best players arrive in Arizona for an elite multi-day event that will provide 72 high-performing youth players with an exclusive look into professional soccer.
Building off the success of the phenomenal events in Cincinnati, Ohio (2016), and San Antonio, Texas (2017), this year’s event will continue to deliver competitive training and high-caliber games, as well as educational programming, access to Rising FC’s players and coaches and more. The players will also take part in a professionalized media day experience at Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex.
Among the many players to have attended the USL Experience include ATL UTD 2 and U.S. Under-20 National Team standout Lagos Kunga, who earlier on Thursday earned USL Fans' Choice Goal of the Week honors for his stunning run against the Charlotte Independence this past Saturday.
I want to wish the best of luck to everybody who was chosen to participate in the #USLX tm. I was there not too long ago, part of the first ever #USLX at Cincinnati & I had a lot of great memories. I just want you guys to enjoy it, compete and #STARTYOURLEGACY. @superyleague
