The opening week of the 2018 regular season saw some of the league’s goalkeeper start the season off in top form across the weekend’s 14 games. Now it’s your turn to select the best of the five selected for this week’s USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week award.

USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 1

Odisnel Cooper - #CHSvCIN, 3/17/18: Cooper produced a one-handed save to keep out a free kick by FC Cincinnati’s Emmanuel Ledesma that was looking for the top-left corner.

Evan Newton - #CHSvCIN, 3/17/18: Newton got down to produce an outstanding reflex save to deny a volley by Charleston’s Kotaro Higashi to keep FCC ahead late in the first half.

Callum Irving - #CLTvOTT, 3/17/18: Irving reacted quickly to tip a powerful header by the Independence’s Jorge Herrera over the crossbar as the Colombian looked to go back across goal with his finish.

Josh Cohen - #SACvSA, 3/17/18: Cohen went at full stretch to deny a stoppage-time header by San Antonio’s Alex Bruce to preserve Republic FC’s victory in its home opener.

Ricardo Ferriño - #FRSvLV, 3/17/18: Ferriño turned aside a towering header by Fresno’s Christian Chaney from a corner kick to help Lights FC emerge with a victory in its first game in club history.
