PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Louisville City FC goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh and Charleston Battery midfielder Neveal Hackshaw have both been named in Trinidad & Tobago’s squad for a pair of international exhibitions against Caribbean rivals Grenada on Nov. 11 and Guyana on Nov. 14.

The games could provide a potential conflict for Ranjitsingh, with Louisville vying for a place in the USL Cup on Nov. 13 when the side takes on the New York Red Bulls II this Saturday night at Slugger Field. Should Louisville advance, Ranjitsingh could request to be excused from the squad, as is the case with fellow T&T player Khaleem Highland due to club commitments with Saudi Arabian club Al-Faisaly FC.

Ranjitsingh requesting to remain with his club wouldn’t be unprecedented in USL circles. Last year, OKC Energy FC goalkeeper Cody Laurendi elected to remain with his club in the USL Cup Playoffs after receiving a call-up from the Puerto Rico national team. Laurendi instead made his debut for his country this past June in an exhibition against Indonesia.

Hackshaw, meanwhile, earns a recall to the squad after completing his second season with the Battery. The defensive midfielder made 19 appearances for Charleston this season, recording 33 interceptions and 12 key passes while winning 115 of 205 duels in the regular season.
