TAMPA, Fla. – OKC Energy FC forward Jose Angulo has been voted the USL Player of the Month for October of the 2017 campaign. Angulo wrapped up the 2017 USL regular season with six goals and three assists in the month, as his attacking performances led Energy FC to a third consecutive berth in the USL Cup Playoffs.
Angulo received 59 percent of a weighted poll that included the USL Technical Committee, a national panel of independent media representing every USL market and an online fan vote held at USLSoccer.com. Orange County SC’s Irvin Parra finished second with 15 percent, while San Antonio FC’s Ever Guzman finished third with 14 percent.
