USL Discipline Report – Week 30

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 30 of the 2017 United Soccer League season:
 
The Richmond Kickers’ Luiz Fernando has been suspended for three games after receiving a red card for violent conduct this past Saturday against Louisville City FC. Fernando will be suspended for the first three games of the 2018 USL regular season.
 
Rio Grande Valley FC’s Jose Escalante has been suspended for one game after receiving a red card for serious foul play this past Saturday against San Antonio FC. Escalante will be suspended for the first game of the 2018 USL regular season.
 
The LA Galaxy II’s Jean Engola has been suspended for one game after receiving a red card for serious foul play this past Saturday against Real Monarchs SLC. Engola will be suspended for the first game of the 2018 USL regular season.
 
Four players were fined after reaching a caution accumulation point in the final game of the regular season. Louisville City FC’s George Davis IV, Sacramento Republic FC’s Sammy Ochoa, Seattle Sounders FC 2’s Rodrigue Ele and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2’s David Norman all received fines, but neither Davis or Ochoa will be suspended for their respective side’s upcoming games in the USL Cup Playoffs.
