• The Monarchs played to a 1-1 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 last Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium to clinch the 2017 USL Regular Season Championship.

• Sebastian Velasquez scored in the first half for the Monarchs goal to open the scoring, but an own goal by Real defender James Moberg and a red card given to Demar Phillips left the game level.

• The Galaxy II come into this match following an impressive 3-2 victory against the Portland Timbers 2 in its final home game of the season last Saturday night at StubHub Center Track and Field Stadium.

• Los Dos came from behind to take the lead on goals by Ariel Lassiter, Jack McBean, but the side needed a late winner from Jeffrey Payeras to earn victory in stoppage time in front of a sellout crowd.

• The victory ended a six-match winless run for Los Dos, who will miss the postseason for the first time in their history this season.
