TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 17 of the 2017 United Soccer League season:
Tampa Bay Rowdies assistant coach Stuart Dobson has been issued a one-game suspension and fined an undisclosed amount following his ejection toward the conclusion of last Thursday’s game between the Rowdies and Orlando City B at Orlando City Stadium.
Four players have also been issued one-game suspensions after receiving their fifth cautions of the season. The Harrisburg City Islanders’ Tiago Calvano served his suspension on Tuesday night against the Charlotte Independence, while Louisville City FC’s Paolo DelPiccolo and Kyle Smith will both serve suspensions this Saturday when City visits Saint Louis FC. The LA Galaxy II’s Jean Engola will serve a one-game suspension when Los Dos host OKC Energy FC on July 30 at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium.
The Rochester Rhinos’ Ryan Felix is no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place him on three cautions for the season.
The following 30 players enter their upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:
