The eighth week of the 2017 USL regular season brought a memorable first tally for a standout veteran, a perfect combination between two teammates and a number of other strikes that brought fans to their feed. Now it’s your turn to select the best of the five selected for this week’s USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week award.

USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 8

  • Juan Pablo Caffa - #TULvVAN, 5/11/17: Caffa’s perfectly placed free kick gave the Roughnecks the lead against Whitecaps FC 2, and propelled the side to a 3-1 victory.
     
  • Georgi Hristov - #TBRvLOU, 5/13/17: Making his club-record 121st appearance, Hristov pulled off a top-drawer finish to send the Rowdies on their way to victory against Louisville.
     
  • Todd Wharton - #RGVvSPR, 5/13/17: Wharton took a perfect flicked set-up from Eric Bird and rifled his finish into the top-right corner to earn the Toros a second consecutive victory.
     
  • Callum Ross - #CLTvNY, 5/11/17: Ross’ powerful header late in the first half put the Independence ahead, and on their way to a 5-1 victory against New York.
     
  • Shaun Wright-Phillips - #PHXvOKC, 5/13/17: Wright-Phillips’ low strike in the fifth minute of stoppage time was his first for Rising FC, and lifted the club to a thrilling 2-1 win against OKC.
