OTTAWA – Ottawa Fury FC fans will have unprecedented access to pro soccer in the nation's capital this season. All Fury FC home and away matches are available on TV, radio (English and French) and online stream coupled with in-depth and behind the scenes coverage on the club's social media channels.
This season, Fury FC have come together with USL Productions, TSN 1200 and Rogers TV to provide a comprehensive English language broadcast that will air on USL Match Centre, Rogers TV and simulcast on TSN 1200. Veteran broadcaster AJ Jakubec will have the call of the clubs fourth season alongside long-time Fury analysts Graeme Ivory and Jenna Mosher from the JUMP Morning Crew on JUMP! 106.9. Mosher became part of the Canadian Women's National Team pool at age 16 and featured prominently for NCAA Division 1 school Troy University. She will also be part of the halftime report hosted by up-and-coming broadcaster Tyler McDonald. This unparalleled broadcast experience will be produced by TSN/RDS veteran broadcaster Mike Sutherland.
After bringing French-language coverage of the Ottawa REDBLACKS to the Ottawa-Gatineau for the last two years, Fury FC is excited to have 104,7 Outaouais adding pro soccer to its coverage in 2017. Olivier Charbonneau will have the call alongside colour analyst Maxime Daigle of every home game from TD Place.
"We're excited for what the 2017 season has in store for Ottawa Fury FC and we're thrilled with our broadcast partnerships that will provide our fans with coverage of our team on all media platforms and in both official languages," said John Pugh, Fury FC President and OSEG Partner. "The broadcast standards of the USL ensure that there is quality coverage across the league and their investment into USL Productions will be seen in every broadcast."
"We're pleased to continue our relationship with TSN 1200 and Rogers TV who have been tremendous supporters of Fury FC since our inception," added Pugh. "It is exciting news that fans can hear our home match through 104,7. They've provided fantastic coverage to the REDBLACKS and we look forward to have Fury FC on their airwaves."
