IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced on Thursday the signing of Mexican Youth National Team defender Salomón Wbias on a season-long loan from 2016 Liga MX Clausura champion CF Pachuca. The signing is pending federation and league approval.

“We are thrilled to welcome a world class talent like Salomon to our organization and demonstrate our intention to showcase some of the most talented young players from Orange County and around the globe,” said Orange County SC General Manger Oliver Wyss.   

The 20-year-old left-footed center back played a key role on the Mexican U-15, U-17 and U-20 National Teams and was a starter on the Mexican U-17 National team squad that finished as runner-up in the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
