CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati announced on Wednesday it had sold more than 20,000 tickets for the club’s regular-season home finale on Saturday night, as the club welcomes Orlando City B to Nippert Stadium at 7 p.m. ET.

Cincinnati has set a USL regular-season record for cumulative attendance this season, with the club currently having welcomed 232,061 fans to Nippert Stadium over the first 14 regular-season games of the year. The club also set a USL single-game record for attendance on May 14 when 23,375 fans were in attendance for its clash with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and has surpassed 250,000 attendance overall this season after welcoming 35,061 for the club’s international exhibition with the Premier League’s Crystal Palace F.C.

FCC plays the Riverhounds for the second time this season on Wednesday night at Highmark Stadium ahead of its home finale in a game that could see the side also claim a home contest for the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals in the 2016 USL Playoffs. With a victory against the Riverhounds, and a draw or loss for the Richmond Kickers against the Charlotte Independence on Wednesday night, FCC would guarantee itself a top-four finish in the Eastern Conference.

Should the side clinch a home playoff game, which would also occur with victories against Pittsburgh and Orlando in its upcoming two contests, the club has announced it would host a home playoff game on Sunday, October 2 at 4 p.m. ET. Following a remarkable season at the box office so far, the chance that Orlando City SC’s USL Playoff record attendance of 20,886 at the 2013 USL Championship could also be in jeopardy of falling.
