Back in contention for the third time in the last five weeks, it is the return of #VoteRooney. After the Arizona United SC midfielder was unsuccessful in his first two bids to claim Goal of the Week, was the incredible volley from Luke Rooney enough to claim top honors?

Rooney faces stiff competition as OC Blues FC standout Didier Crettenand beat the wall and the keeper (with a little help from the woodwork) for his team-leading eighth tally of the campaign while fellow no. 10 Ricardo Velazco made his claim to the throne with another beauty for Real Monarchs SLC before inking a Homegrown contract with Real Salt Lake Tuesday.

From the East, Aodhan Quinn headed home a winner as Louisville City FC continued its surge towards the playoffs and USL Player of the Week Enzo Martinez looks to pull off the weekly double after scoring twice in a 3-2 victory over FC Cincinnati that assured his Charlotte Independence side a playoff berth.
