Red Bulls II Announce Signing of Long

HARRISON, N.J. – The New York Red Bulls II have announced the signing of midfielder Aaron Long ahead of the 2016 USL season.

Long competed in the USL last season for Seattle Sounders FC 2, where he made 27 appearances and recorded one goal and two assists as S2 reached the USL Playoffs in their inaugural season. Originally selected by Seattle Sounders FC in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, Long spent time on loan with Sacramento Republic FC and Orange County Blues FC in his first professional season.

Prior to turning professional, Long played for two seasons with FC Tucson in the PDL, as he made 17 appearances over two seasons. The native of Oak Hill, Calif. also played collegiately for UC Riverside, where he earned All-Big West honors in both his junior and senior seasons.
