After a tough 1-0 victory against CISA, Flatirons FC’s League Two squad faces Utah United in the 2025 home opener.

In the first match between these two teams, Utah took home a 2-0 victory. Tyler Ware opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Flatirons went down to 10 men right before halftime as Arlo Follet was assessed a second yellow card. Then, in the second half, Utah took control of the game and prodded home one more goal off of the foot of Ellis Spikner.

Since that match, Utah has won two more times: a 4-0 win against CISA and a 2-0 result against Storm. The side from the Beehive State has posted 3 consecutive clean sheets, and was recently ranked as the #7 team in the league. Leading the way for United is Alejandro Silva, with 3 goals on the season.

Flatirons FC defeated CISA on Tuesday night with a Miles Seminario goal the lone difference. Seminario is tied for fourth in the league, with 4 goals scored in 3 games. He also has an assist on the season. Jonah Elstad is the team’s leading assist provider, with 2 in his three appearances.
