With the USL 2 League underway, Colorado Rush took to the pitch for the second session of their trainings for the 2021 season. With many faces new & old, the crew is coming in with a strong aggressive attitude and brilliant chemistry.

With only two days of practice so far, the players have been exceptional since the second they have stepped on the pitch. Many of the fellas are coming off fresh from their collegiate tournaments from across the states. A few of the boys are coming from places like Philadelphia, Wisconsin, and even Texas. This is quite the change of landscape for players coming down to Colorado. These players are currently facing some challenges, mainly with a change in altitudes, but have stayed sharp through it all.

The mentality of these players is phenomenal. With that of COVID-19 putting a halt to the 2020 season, the players are just as livid just to get onto the pitch.
The coaching staff has been relentless this week. There is never a moment when the field is quiet. In the distance, there is always a roar from the supportive staff; the coaches are pushing the players to go beyond the limits.

Communication on this team has been a strong foundation, and we can expect more of this as the season rolls out.

With so much at stake for the club, the players, and the staff, it’s all gas no breaks in sight. Speaking with a few of the players today after the session, the only thing on their minds right now is to succeed wherever they go. As hungry as these players are for success and glory, they must take this one game at a time. The Colorado Rush faces GAM United on Friday at 7:30 PM. This will be an exhibition of what the Colorado Rush has in store for us in this upcoming season.
