Matt Van Oekel (OKC) – With Phoenix Rising FC’s Jason Johnson bearing down on goal, Matt Van Oekel held firm and made a big save with his right hand to keep out the Jamaican forward’s close-range shot.
Cody Mizell (TBR) – Showing off his reflexes, Cody Mizell got down brilliantly to turn wide a shot from Marcus Epps from 15 yards with a left-handed denial.
Matt Cardone (SA) – San Antonio native Matt Cardone reacted brilliantly off a set piece to keep out a close-range header by the Portland Timbers 2’s Eryk Williamson.
Ben Lundt (LOU) – Atlanta United 2’s Andrew Carleton fired a shot that was pegged for the top-right corner of the net, but Ben Lundt’s diving intervention kept this side level on the road.
Logan Ketterer (ELP) – On a day that saw impressive saves at both ends, Locomotive FC’s Logan Ketterer pulled out a top-shelf stop to deny a long-range shot from the Monarchs’ Ricardo Avila.
