USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 2
Matt Pickens (NSH) - #NSHvSTL, 3/16/19: Pickens went at full-stretch to keep out a strong header by Saint Louis FC’s Caleb Calvert that was heading for the right corner of the net.
Matt Cardone (SA) - #SAvPOR, 3/16/19: Cardone earned a second consecutive nomination as he showed off his reflexes to keep out a close-range header by the Portland Timbers 2’s Eryk Williamson.
Carlos Miguel Coronel (BST) - #BSTvNC, 3/16/19: Coronel made an impressive double-save to deny North Carolina FC’s Marios Lomis first from the penalty spot and then on the rebound.
Ben Lundt (LOU) - #ATLvLOU, 3/15/19: Lundt marked his LouCity debut with a tremendous diving save on a long-range effort by United States U-20 international Andrew Carleton.
David Ochoa (SLC) - #SLCvELP, 3/16/19: The United States U-20 international preserved his shutout late in the contest with a fingertip save to deny El Paso Locomotive FC’s Josh Castellanos.
